Some of our rescue work is with a network of rescuers - who try to get dogs out of high-kill shelters. Tracey, the founder of ARVSS is a 4th year veterinary medical student... and she works closely with RAVS and Red Lake Rosie. Red Lake is an Indian reservation in northern Minnesota. Rosie has actually pulled puppies out of a burning dumpster! Most of the dogs up there are left outside and don't survive the very cold winters. They come in to her care in poor health.

ARVSS finds the dogs and puppies amazing foster homes. The dogs are cared for medically, socialized in a family environment, and spayed or neutered before everyone works together to find their forever home... it is amazing work...

I'm proud to be saving lives... one animal at a time!
