Charity: I was just reading the blog about our Donna & Jackie. We took Jackie to Mound's today for the Microchipping clinic and she was the Belle of the Ball. She was so well behaved. She got along with all of the other dogs and didn't have any indoor accidents! She even curled up in a lady named Andrea's lap. Another 2-4 weeks and the girls will be adoptable. They are so sweet!

To Knit...

Mood: Warm & Fuzzy
Thankful for: Knitting of all kinds

Knit: 1: to make (a garment, fabric, etc.) by interlocking loops of one or more yarns either by hand with knitting needles or by machine. 2: to join closely and firmly, as members or parts: The tragedy knitted the family closer together 3: to contract into folds or wrinkles: to knit the brow. 4: to form or create from diversy sourses of elements: She knitted her play from old folk tales and family anecdotes. 5: to become closely and firmly joined together; grow together, as broken bones do 6: to become closely and intimately united.

Bella is teaching us all to knit... bones, friendships, attachments!

---As I spent time organizing photos tonight, I was struck by the changes happening in Bella's leg. Her bones are knitting!

---As I listened to her foster mom today, I was struck by the close relationship her family (including family pets) have become... "knit" together...

---As we all work to save animals who need help --- I can't help but feel joined closely and firmly as a member or a part of this rescue...
